A short tribute to Isaac Asimov

Isaac Asimov was one of the greatest Sci-Fi authors
of the 20th century. His work still inspire artists
today.
- He was born in Petrovichi, Russia sometime between October 1919 and January 1920. He and his family immigrated to the US in 1923.
- He started to write at 11 years old and published his first piece in 1934
- He spent 3 years during World War II as a civilian chemist between his degrees in chemistry. He earned his PhD in chemistry in 1948.
- His most famous work is the Foundation Series which won a Hugo Award in 1966.
- He had a very prolific and curious mind and is the world's 24th most-translated author.
- He died in Manhattan in 1992 of AIDS, after having written more than 500 books and an estimated 90000 letters and postcards.
